MEP PRESENTS DAMNING REPORT ON CAMPO POLLUTION TO EU COMMISSION
A detailed technical report commissioned by a British MEP and delivered to European environment commissioner Stavros Dimas last month contains a damning assessment of pollution levels in the Campo de Gibraltar. It concluded that “continuous and unsustainable” expansion of the Campo industrial base is creating “an increasingly hazardous environment” for residents in the area.
